Trump wants to disappear U. S. Citizens

Tl;Dr: MSNBC reporting… You can’t deport a citizen, that’s just kidnapping

So far Donald Trump has illegally deported Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia, and refused to comply with the U.S. Supreme Court’s judgement to return him.

Today, Trump said he wants to ‘deport’ U.S. citizens – quibbling over words aside: this is straight up fascist dictator behavior. Sending people away without regard for law or process is so radically un-american it’s hard to even imagine it. ““Home Growns are next”

No need to imagine it: it’s happening right now. I strongly suggest you call your representatives everyday day, call your attorney general, and get out and protest this. Don’t have time? Donate money to fight this.

If that seems like too much trouble, read up of fascist regimes to get a view of what’s ahead, and consider moving to a country that respects human rights. Prepare to have people from your community disappeared, and for it to get closer to home.

Quibbling: Deporting is what you do to a foreigner in your country. When you detain and transport a citizen to another county without legal process it’s just kidnapping. In most of the rest of the world it’s called disappearing someone.
