Tl;Dr; the recipe is here, and on my first try pretty good.
Coffee’s been a big part of my life since college. During COVID, I jumped on the Pour Over craze. A year ago I got a Switch immersion brewer. It’s pretty great, but I still don’t feel like I make amazing coffee with it.
This recipe is very different: normal bloom & first pulse, the Tetsu drops the temperature dramatically – from 93c to 70.
And yeah, it tastes different. And yeah, it’s pretty good!
I wonder: is this really just because the coffee is cooler? Hot things are hard to taste.
